Sara Skuce owns, and operates The Burrow Art Therapy and Creativity Studio, and Nestled Whole Family Wellness, on Bowen Island, B.C.
As a Professional Art Therapist and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, Sara uses a client centred, strengths-based approach to support and encourage positive change through self-expression and creativity, in a safe and supportive space.
She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of exceptionalities, including neurodivergent learners. She has experience with social-emotional regulation, anxiety, executive functioning, depression, and self-esteemissues.
Her practice embodies a multi-theoretical perspective that includes positive psychology, behavioural strategies, nature-based art therapy, and mindfulness practices. Shebelieves in the importance of helping clients to find the right strategies and tools to improve their mental health and wellness. Sara is also a certified Nature and ForestTherapy Guide and Certified Zen Tangle Instructor.

Catherine Epps
Potter
Catherine Epps has been working with clay since 1979. The introduction to pottery began as a high school interest and has developed into a lifelong passion. Her studio, Many Moons Pottery, moved to Bowen Island in 2004. Catherine’s sense of form and colour, merging with functionality is one of her strongest assets. She enjoys sharing her love of working with clay with others through teaching and sharing studio space and offering her pottery at craft fairs and galleries.
Wendy Harding
Artist
Wendy Harding has worked with children for over 20 years in a verity of settings such as the West Vancouver School District, preschools and recreational programs. Art has been a constant enjoyment for Wendy as she has explored different mediums and developed her skills over the years. She is excited to share her love of art and creativity with the youth of Bowen Island.
